2.  Comments About Spiritual Chat 32 And Spiritual Letter 33

Overview:

This material, this "Heart's Work" is very important for everyone at the Bawa Muhaiyaddeen Fellowship to read, study, and reflect upon, especially during the month of Ramadan, when the gates of hell have been closed by God so we can all really make some progress on the path of God within us, to walk the Straight Path back into the "Oneness of God  and True Man" within us, to walk the path that God has personally and ever so lovingly placed within each of His Children for this age, which is everyone living in the world today, if that be our true intention, and in this way, laying the foundation "inside" of us for the spiritual progress that we will experience both "inside" and outside" of us during the next year.
 
We all need to join with our Shaikh within us, and with God within Him, to read this material over and over again, to do this "Heart's Work", and to ask God to help us, to help us extract all of the secrets hidden within this material, and to place these secrets deep within our hearts, and in this way, transforming the wisdom of truth in these words into the action of truth within our very own hearts.  Only in this way, by handing our "outside" to our "inside" will any of this material, or anything that Bawa Muhaiyaddeen (may God be pleased with Him) has given to us on the "outside" of us, be of any value to us on the path of God.  We all must realize this truth about our "outside" and our "inside" and how we must use both to move forward in our life.
 
This is the great secret of the life and teaching of Bawa Muhaiyaddeen (may God be pleased with Him), that before we die, we must join with Bawa Muhaiyaddeen within us (may God be pleased with Him), and with God within Him, to move all that He has given us on the "outside" of us into our inner most hearts,                     

          "To take in every word of the secrecy of the life and teaching of Bawa
          Muhaiyaddeen (may God be pleased with Him) with our capacity to
          understand (which is our Shaikh within us, and God within Him) and
          entrench it in our heart." 

Only then will "It remove the sorrows of our birth and be of assistance to us."  Only then can we "Absorb every word of Bawa Muhaiyaddeen (may God be pleased with Him) into our clear tranquil heart and make it into a form." (Quotes from page 6, in the "Forward", in the book, "The Pearl of Wisdom).

And only then can Bawa Muhaiyaddeen within us (may God be pleased with Him), and God within Him, open the words of God for this age, the life and teaching of Bawa Muhaiyaddeen within us (may God be pleased with Him), within our very own hearts, and teach us all of their inner secrets, teach us "what we do not know", and then help us distribute all of these "Pearls of Wisdom" to all of our  brothers and sisters still living "only" on the "outside" of themselves, as this child has joined with our Father to do.

And we must do all of this before we die, and before the world "outside" of all of us is prematurely destroyed, and before our Shaikh within us leaves the world "outside" of us for good, and then God brings it all to an end, which will happens around the year 2084, or all that God has given us in this age, as the life and teaching of God for this age, for the Children of God for this age, as the life and teaching of Bawa Muhaiyaddeen (may God be pleased with Him) for the Children of Bawa Muhaiyaddeen (may God be pleased with each of Us), will be lost to us, will be of no value to us, after we die.

May we all do this "Heart's Work", including reading this Spiritual Chat, Spiritual Chat 33, and the latest version of the other material by Shaikh Muhaiyaddeen (Louie Beutler), as noted below, as they have been updated almost daily over the last few weeks, during Ramadan, as Web Pages on the Internet.

Have you had a chance to read the latest version of Spiritual Letter 33, "To Truly See
All People As Our Brothers Is Islam", which is now a Web Page on the Internet.  It is still being written to all of the brothers and sisters of the Bawa Muhaiyaddeen Fellowship from this child, from Shaikh Muhaiyaddeen (Louie Beutler), but the latest version of this letter can now be read on the Internet.  It is a wonderful blessing from God, especially for this glorious month of Ramadan.

Spiritual Letter 33, "To Truly See All People As Our Brothers Is Islam", is a very important letter for the Fellowship children, for all of the Children of God for this age, for all of the Children of Bawa Muhaiyaddeen (may God be pleased with Him), a
beautiful plea from our Shaikh within us, and from God within Him, for each of us to move away from our current focus, which is on "ourselves and our brothers and sister" in the world that we mistakenly see in our ignorance as existing "outside" of us, a focus that is always pulling us deeper and deeper into the drama of the world "outside" of us, like the current drama being played our before us called "America Invading Iraq".

And instead, to shift our focus onto our Shaikh within us, and onto God within Him, to the world "inside" of us, and in this way, perhaps to truly believe and live as a Muslim, as" One who is completely surrendered to the will of Allah", to truly believe and live the truth that Bawa teaches us in Chapter 12, "The Inner Qur'an", in the beautiful book, "Islam And World Peace: Explanations of a Sufi", (a book which is now completely available on-line).

For example, like Bawa teaches us on page 138, in this Chapter and book, that,

          "To truly see all people as our brothers is Islam".

And perhaps from this clarity, as true Muslims, as those who are truly surrendered to the will of Allah, as the Children of Bawa Muhaiyaddeen (may God be pleased with Him, and with Us), as members of the Bawa Muhaiyaddeen Fellowship, to cut right through the current dramas of our "outside" world, to cut right through the craziness of all our "outside" dramas, big dramas like the birth, schooling, work, marriage, family, religion, and death of Fellowship children, and little dramas like "America Invading Iraq", to cut right through the craziness of us only living in the world "outside" of us, the craziness of us only living a life of "separation and differences" with our brothers and sister in the world that we see in our ignorance as existing on the "outside" of us.

And to do this, to cut right through our craziness of making our life only about the dramas of the world "outside" of us, we must stop living only on the "outside" of us with our brothers and sisters, and to start living also on the "inside" of us, with our wisdom, and with the truth of God within us, we must start to live with our Shaikh within us, and with God within Him, we must start to live also on the "inside" of us.

We must stop doing our duty "here", our duty "outside" of us, only from "here", only from the "outside" of us, only in relationship with our brothers and sisters in the world "outside" of us, and instead learn to do our duty "here", our duty "outside" of us, also from "there", also from the "inside" of us, also in relationship with our Shaikh within us, and in relationship with God within Him.

And in this way, if we join with our wisdom, and with the truth of God within us, to make this shift in focus, if we do this, if we join with our Shaikh within us, and with God within Him, to do this "Heart's Work" within us, then, and only then, can we truly
come together as true Muslims and learn to truly embrace,

          "All People as Our Brothers".

Then, and only then, can we truly come together as the Children of Bawa Muhaiyaddeen (may God be pleased with Him, and with each of Us), and continue
the duty of Bawa Muhaiyaddeen (may God be pleased with Him) in both worlds, in
this world and in the next world, in the world "inside" of us, that must first become One with the world "outside" of us, making this world the world of wisdom, the palace of the soul, the house of the Qutb of God for this age, of Qutb Muhaiyaddeen Abdul-Qadir al-Jilani (may God be pleased with Him), with the 99 wilayats or Powers of God, the 99 beautiful Qualities of God, as the eyes of our Shaikh, and of God within Him, as the windows of this house of wisdom.

Allowing us to see everything in the 18,000 universes within us, to see God, the soul, and goodness as what is within us, as "who we truly are", which will naturally occur both within us and "outside" of us, when our words and our actions truly become One, and in the world within our innermost heart, making this world the hereafter, here and now, when True Man is revealed within the Creation of God within us, making this world the kingdom of God within us, the 8th heaven of Muhammad (Sal.) or firdaus
within us, and within that the throne of the True Believer within us, that arsh al-mu'mim.

And then, and only then, can we truly continue the duty of Bawa Muhaiyaddeen (may God be pleased with Him), in the world "outside" of us, which could involve what is proposed in Spiritual Letter 33, which is,

          Inviting Saddam Hussein of Iraq, his family, and his friends, to America, into our
          homes, and into our hearts, before it is too late, before it is too late to reverse
          what "we" are about to do to "ourselves", and what "he" is about to do to
          "himself", perhaps leading to the premature destruction of the world "outside" of
          all of us, perhaps destroying forever the possibility of any of us getting it right
          before we die.

What a wonder, my dearest loving sisters Rumi.  It is such a wonder to join with Bawa, and with God within Him, to join with our Father, Shaikh Muhammad Rahim Bawa Muhaiyaddeen (may God be pleased with Him), and with God within Him, to write a letter like that.  What a wonder, my dearest loving sister Rumi. 

Please ask all of our brothers and sisters to read this very important letter.  It is truly
from the heart of Bawa Muhaiyaddeen (may God be pleased with Him), within this child, to the heart of Bawa Muhaiyaddeen (may God be pleased with Him) within each Child of Bawa Muhaiyaddeen (may God be pleased with Him, and with each of Us), which is all of us living in this age.  It is truly "Heart's Work".

Also, we have joined with our Shaikh within us, and with God within Him, to make our last Spiritual Chat into Spiritual Chat 32, "Learning How To Properly Say No To God".  It is also a great wonder.  It too is now a Web Page on the Internet and the latest version of it can also be now read.  Also it now has a lot of new stuff in it that we didn't have time to share in our original chat.  Please, please, please, check it out.

Yes we read Spiritual Letter 33 as well as Spiritual Chat 32.  So much understanding has come to us through our exchanges. We are into "week one" of Ramadan and a lot of inner work is going on.

3. "If Two Of You Come Together In My Name, I Will Be There"

Overview:

This is the great secret of our life, of our life on the "inside" of us, living with our Shaikh within us, and with God within Him, in order to liberate our soul from the cross of our elemental body, to stop us from sinning, to help Jesus (peace be upon Him) off of His cross within us, and to join Jesus (peace be upon Him) within us with our wisdom, creating the house of wisdom within us, the House of the Qutb of God within us, and than joining that house of wisdom with the light of our wisdom, with the Nur Allah within us, that God has placed on the forehead of Adam (peace be upon Him) within us.

And in this way, making our life eternal, making the life of our soul eternal, by handing the Shaikh "outside" of us to the Shaikh "inside" of us, by handing the life and teaching of Bawa Muhaiyaddeen on the "outside" of us (may God be pleased with Him), that we think of as Bawa, His teachings, and the Bawa Muhaiyaddeen Fellowship, to the life and teaching of Bawa Muhaiyaddeen within us (may God be pleased with Him), which in truth God has personally place within each of us, within each of us living in this age, before we even came to the earth world, to His "School of Contrast".

In order to understand who we already are, in order to awaken the wisdom surrounding our soul, so the wisdom surrounding the soul can do battle with the enemy of the soul, which is "us" living only on the "outside" of us, which is "us" only living "separate from" God, "separate from" each other, and "separate from" the Creation of God within us. Which is "us" living with our brothers and sisters in the world that we see in our ignorance as existing "outside" of us, within the dramas inherent within our shared lives of "separation and differences" on the "outside" of us, and in this way, nourishing all of the lives of darkness within us, with our sins, until we die, until we meet the Angel of Death.

Such is our fate, our destiny, our karma, my dearest loving brothers and sisters, if we aren't careful, if we fail to accept the destiny of our soul, which is the "Oneness of God and True Man" within us, as our only true duty, join with our Shaikh within us, and with God within Him, to do that divine duty, and in the process become the beautiful harvest of the grace of God within us, for the benefit of all of the Creation of God in the 18,000 universes within us

Bawa has been opening up so many wonderful things within this child also, we are all so very blessed.  We have God within us, as Allah, as the Primal Ruler, we have our Father, Shaikh Muhammad Rahim Bawa Muhaiyaddeen (may God be pleased with Him) within us, as our wisdom and the truth of God within us, we have each other, both on the "outside" of us as our brothers and sisters, and on the "inside" of us as the 1000 generosities of God, and we have the Creation of God within us, as the Holy Qur'an.

And within the 6,666 verses of the Holy Qur'an we have the 28 letters as the form or parts of the human body, and within that we have the 5 letters of Alhamd - alif, lam, meem, hay, and dahl - as the secret form of the truth of Allah, as the form of the Suratal Fatihah, or the Cause of God within us, and within that we  have the Three within the Three, as the Three of Creation within the Three of God, as the Three of Creation - alif, lam, and meem - within the Three of God, within the Triple Flame of God
- Ya Allah, Ya Rasul, Ya Muhaiyaddeen, and within that we have the Ruh, the wisdom, and the Nur, as the form of Divine Luminous Wisdom within us, which appears within us as the Form of the One, and as Bawa teaches us in Chapter 18 in the book, "The Resonance of Allah",

          "That form is that, and that is you.  That state is the One, shining as the radiant,
          all pervading effulgence."

Amen, Amen, Ya Rabil Alameen.  Amen, Amen, Ya Rahman Alameen.  Amen, Amen, Ya Rahim Alameen.  Al-hamdu lillah.  Allahu Akbar.

Yes indeed we are so blessed. About our brothers and sisters on the "outside" of us, we would like some advise about that.

Ok, we will join with Bawa within us, and with God within Him to provide some advise about our brothers and sisters on the "outside" of us, but first lets share a little more about our last chat, which is still being written as a Web Page, as Spiritual Chat 32, and Spiritual Letter 33, which is also still being written as a Web page. 

Our last chat was such a wonder, and the Web Page version of it, as Spiritual Chat 32, continues to grow, and grow.  We have been adding to it each day, and the clarity within in it keeps getting deeper and deeper each day.  What a wonder.

For example, the other night we were up to 5 A.M. adding the following two new Sections to it, which you should find very helpful.  They really helped this child understand a lot of new things about the path, and the many traps that can prevent us from moving forward on the path:

Therefore, please keep reading Spiritual Chat 32 as a Web Page on the Internet, over and over again, it is really a wealth of grace, especially the latest version of Spiritual Chat 32.  It provides a beautiful way to jump into the "inside" of us, and gradually leave the "outside" of us behind.

That is the real focus of it, learning to "Get God To Do What Only God Can Do" within us, which is closing down the world of hell within us, re-opening the world of souls within us, and then opening the kingdom of God within us, or said another way, by making our "outside" and our "inside" into One, first into the House of Wisdom, the Palace of our Soul, the House of Qutb Muhaiyaddeen Abdul-Qadir al-Jilani (may God be pleased with Him).

And then into the hereafter, here and now, by making our "words" and our "actions" into One, into the Qualities and Actions of God for this age, into the life and teaching of Bawa Muhaiyaddeen (may God be pleased with Him), within the hearts of everyone living in this age, into the One True Child of Bawa Muhaiyaddeen (may God be pleased with Him) for this age, for this age of Bawa Muhaiyaddeen (may God be pleased with Him).

Also, our last sharing at the Fellowship, right before the beginning of Ramadan, with Hussain and the two sisters from Canada, with Rumi, and with Mrs. G, was also very, very helpful.  So many beautiful wisdom points were revealed within our hearts and shared with everyone, in order to move our lives forward on the path, on the path of the Oneness of God and True Man within us.  Al-hamdu lillah.  Allahu Akbar.

It is truly like Bawa teaches us,

          "If two of you come together in My Name, with the intention to truly move your
          lives forward on the path of God, I will be there".

In this way, we are all truly sitting on God's lap while Bawa teaches us "what we do not know".  This is the reality of our life, my dearest loving sister Rumi.  May we never forget Bawa and our true relationship with Him within us, and with God within Him.  May we never forget that in truth we are the Three of Us within the Three of God, only then will our life move forward, that we are the Three of Us - the Disciple, the Shaikh, and God - within the Three of God, within the Triple Flame of God - Ya Allah, Ya Rasul, Ya Muhaiyaddeen.

May we never forget that if we let our Shaikh become our soul, and we become His form, if we become the form of the soul, which is the Nur Muhammad, which is the Shaikh, then God will become the True Disciple within us, who will willing attend "us" as His School, and pray on "us" as His Prayer Mat, and farm "us" as His Earth, as His Farm, and in this way, closing down "us" as His Stage of Drama.

And as Bawa teaches us, if we do this, if we let what is within us become "who we are", realizing through the life and teaching of Bawa Muhaiyaddeen (may God be pleased within Him) that "what is within us" is in truth our Shaikh and the Creation of God, or the Light of Wisdom and the Shadow of the Shaikh, the shadow of wisdom which in truth is "us" living as One with the Creation of God within us, which in our ignorance has become the 400 trillion, 10 thousand, spiritual energies, has become the world of darkness within us, that is reflected "outside" of us, as "us" and our brothers and sisters living lives of  "separation and differences" in the world that we see in our ignorance as existing "outside" of us.  Such is our current state and of our Shaikh within us.

And as Bawa teaches us on page 31, in Chapter 3, "The Wondrous City", in the book, "A Mystical Journey", what is within our Shaikh within us, within the state of "Divine Analytic Wisdom", the wisdom that explains, is,

          "God, the soul, and Goodness"

And what is within the soul within the Shaikh within us is,

          "The grace of God, the wealth of His divine knowledge or 'ilm, and the treasures
          of wisdom and God's qualities."

And within our Goodness are the treasures of God, of the 3 world, of awwal, dunya,
and akhirah, the world of souls, this earth world, and the next world.

Do you begin to get it now, my dearest loving sister Rumi, most of everything is within us, most of everything that we are, is within us, which includes the Creation of God, and our Shaikh or wisdom, and within our Shaikh within us includes God, the Soul, and Goodness, and within the Soul within our Shaikh within us, includes the grace of God, the 'ilm of God, and the treasures of God. 

There is hardly anything "outside" of us, just a reflection of the world of darkness within us, just what is required to keep nourishing the 400 trillion, 10 thousand, lives of darkness within us, until we die, and their nourishment is our fate, our destiny, our karma, their nourishment is our sins, their nourishment is our life of drama, our drama of "separation and differences", our life of "separation and differences" with our brothers and sisters in the world that we see in our ignorance as existing "outside" of us, their nourishment is us sinning, by keeping the life of our soul, which is Jesus (peace be upon Him) crucified on the cross of our elemental body with the 5 nails of desire for earth, fire, water, air, and ether.  What a wonder.

That is why Bawa teaches on page 11, in the "Invocation To The Guru", in the book, "The Pearl of Wisdom", to

          "Find the world as a tiny thing."

And why Bawa teaches us,

          "There is no world, there is no body, there is no self,
          There is nothing that is I."

          "All that you see is a dream,
          All that you do is just a thought within that dream,
          All that you appear as is hidden."

          "Life is a feast of the world,
          Its medicine is a time after a time."

In this way, as Bawa teaches us further on page 11 in the "Invocation To The Guru", in the book, "The Pearl of Wisdom",

          "If we let Grace spring forth,
          If we let darkness vanish,
          If we let the love of Guru grow,
          If we let the qualities be purified",

Then,

          "The Silent One will appear as Grace,
          We will find the world as a tiny thing,
          We will destroy Sorrow (within us) which is a maiden,
          We will learn standing on the path (of Oneness with God and True Man within
                    us),
          We will ask with a melting heart,
          We will let the body become the true mystery dominant with grace,
          We will let the seed be destroyed blinding both eyes,
          We will enshrine in our heart the lamp of Guru's graceful words,
          With a heart of love we will see Aathi as a thing,
          We will spread the Guru's words with delightful heart,
          We will unfurl the flag of Guru's words everywhere."

Then,

          "The fate that accompanies you will turn into dust.
          "We will ask for the remedy in order to shine everywhere."

In this way, my dearest loving sister Rumi, if we let our wisdom, and the truth of God within us, if we let our Shaikh within us, and God within Him, liberate our soul from "our" life of "separation and differences", from "our" illusory life of a "selfish" existence that we share with our brothers and sisters, in the world that we see in our ignorance as existing "outside" of us, and join our wisdom with our soul, with the life of our soul, then "us" joined with our Shaikh will let our soul join with the Nur, transforming the life of our soul into an eternal life. 

Then our Shaikh becomes our soul, the soul within our soul, and we become the form of that soul, the light of wisdom called the Nur Muhammad, and God becomes the True Disciple within us, and in this way, we become the form of the Shaikh, and what appears within us is God, the soul, and Goodness, with God becoming the True Disciple within us, and our Shaikh becoming our soul, the life within our life of wisdom, which is the life of the "Oneness of God and True Man" within us, which is True Man within the Creation of God within us, with the  Goodness within us becoming the Creation of True Man within us, first appearing within us as the Sirr or Secret World of Allah within us, within the 18,000 universes within us, and then appearing within us as
akhirah or the hereafter within us, as the 8th heaven of Muhammad (Sal.) within us, as the kingdom of God within us.

In this way, my dearest loving sister Rumi, it all begins within us, when we hand our "outside" to our "inside", having come to the conclusion that our "outside" is of no true value to us, as "separate from" God, no matter what we do with it, but is of great value to "us" as "One with" God within us, when we hand it to our wisdom, and to the truth of God within us, when we hand it to our Shaikh within us, and to God within Him.

And in this way, may we never forget to come together with our brothers and sisters,
to say the word, "Bawa", or "Bawa Muhaiyaddeen", or "Shaikh Muhammad Rahim Bawa Muhaiyaddeen" (may  God be pleased with Him, and in this way, handing Him, as our "inside", our "outside", and inviting Him within us to use it, to "teach us what we do not know". 

Then our life will become successful, then our Shaikh within us, and God within Him,
will make our life successful, before we die, and before the world "outside" of us is prematurely destroyed, then our wisdom and the truth of God within us will,

          "Reason over our fate."
